INTERCULTURAL PEDAGOGY: THEORY AND PRACTICE METHODOLOGY FOR LOCALIZATION OF RUSSIAN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS (HIGHER EDUCATION LEVEL)

Abstract :                                                          

The article proposes the methodology for localization of Russian educational programs implemented in universities in order to increase their attractiveness for foreign applicants. With the help of the proposed methodology, it is possible to conduct effective translation work in a short time. The subject of the research is the localization of the existing educational program “Software Engineering” to be translated into English taking into account the specifics of the subject being taught. The aim of the work is to localize the educational program “Software Engineering” to attract and adapt foreign students at the Ural Federal University. Theoretical significance lies in the possibility of using theoretical research results for the localization of other educational programs. The practical significance lies in contributing to the implementation of the improvement of the indicators of the Development and Internationalization Programs at the Ural Federal University, in particular, and internationalization of the education process, in general.
