Abstract: We get information about the life of Shirakatsi from his own autobiography, written by him personally, as well as from mathematical problems, where the names of representatives of the princely house of Kamsarakan are often mentioned. From this we can conclude that he had connections with this house. From the autobiography we can conclude that it was written at a later age of the author, when the Great Scientist had already become disillusioned with the ingratitude and indifference of people towards himself and his specialty. There is also certain information about him conveyed by Grigor Magistros and Samuel Anetzi.
